La película “The Power of the Dog” de Netflix lidera la lista de nominados al Oscar con 12 menciones, seguida de cerca por la épica de ciencia ficción “Dune”, que recibió 10. Lamentablemente, la cinta panameña «Plaza Catedral», dirigida por Abner Benaim, no alcanzó el objetivo de ser una de nominadas en el renglón de Mejor Película Extranjera.
